The request for education and training on a wider scale is increasing, in relation to the number of people involved, and at a higher level each person must be able to achieve, in a lifelong and lifewide perspective. The current European policy for this decade, Europe 2020, proposes objectives aimed at building a smart, sustainable and inclusive economy. This growth will be crucial to improve employability, productivity and social cohesion. One of the strategic elements for achieving these ambitious objectives, is the education and training system, in a lifelong and lifewide perspective. It is firmly recognized that high-depth and updated knowledge, skills and abilities, in the field of knowledge, science and technologies, together with the ability to cooperate in a supportive and inclusive way, are the keys to come out from the financial and economic crisis that has been affecting the globalized world over the last two years. These strategies are aimed to disseminate and promote well-being and development both in individuals and countries. In this book, we analyzed data from field work projects carried out in Italy and Brazil. It is designed to highlight needs and meanings from education and training, and based on the professional experience of educators, educational administrators, teachers, and trainers. Finally, the book presents a project that uses an original format, based on autobiographical writing currently adopted in human sciences, especially in the perspective of adult education and training, lifelong and lifewide learning.
